Annual General Meeting - Wednesday 12 February - Gosforth Lodge 7:30

Our A.G.M. is arranged to be in Gosforth Lodge, Cliffe Park 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday 12 February.

There will be a presentation about our annual visit to Sindelfingen for their Srassenfest (Street Festival) in mid-June. 

Coming soon - our Bier Keller Evening on Friday 28th February in the Civic Hall.

QUIZ NIGHT - PIE AND PEAS, CHOICE PUDDINGS - SOCIAL EVENING - FRIDAY 1st NOVEMBER 2024

QUIZ NIGHT  -  FRIDAY 1st NOVEMBER 2024, 7:10 p.m. 

For a prompt 7:30 start

Dear Quizzer, We invite you to enter a team in the above competition. This event has been much enjoyed in the past and has now become a regular feature of the Town Twinning calendar.

Entry to the quiz is open to a maximum of four people per team and you are welcome to enter more than one team if you wish. There will be a limited number of places for spectators. 

Everyone attending (players and spectators alike) will be asked to pay an entrance fee of £12.50, which includes the cost of their supper. In addition, there will be a charge of £10.00 for each team entered.

If you saw the earlier version, please note that the Sindelfingen Straßenfest (street festival) is now 21st to 23rd June 2024. (Note - the date change is owing to Euro 24 timing)

Town Twinners set off to cycle to Sindelfingen

They're on thier way to the Strassenfest in Sindelfingen

Just before noon on June 4th,  Town Twinners gather at the Peel monument to cycle the whole way to Dronfield's twin town of Sindelfingen.

Their first overnight stop is Gainsborough, then on the ferry from Hull to Rotterdam. Much of the rest of their journey will be following the Rhein, arriving in Sindelfingen over a week later in readiness for the Strassenfest (street festival) in Sindelfingen. They will then be joined by Twinning committee members and Dronfield and Barlow choir - not on bikes!
